361 Homes

A unique and exciting new district with a lot of potential. The project is a transformation and revitalisation of an old industrial district that has now become a vibrant and diverse area for living and business.

The area contains 361 homes that are very varied when it comes to the interior design. There are 170 micro-living homes with one room. The size of these homes is 30-35 square metres. A few of the micro-living homes are up to 51 square metres. Our micro-living homes are optimal for singles and students. Furthermore, there are 167 flats ranging from 52 square metres (two rooms) up to 126 square metres (five rooms). These flats are optimal for couples and families as well as a shared housing. Alongside the courtyard’s centre there are 24 terraced houses. 12 of these are two-storied and range in size from 102 to 111 square metres. The terraced houses with only one storey (ground floor) range in sizes from 53 to 57 square metres.

The homes are located in the centre of the district by Husum Torv. There are numerous shopping opportunities and it’s located close to public transportation and a school. Close by you will find Utterslev Mose, which is a fantastic recreational area that boasts lake and wonderful nature. There is also Vestvolden, which is a recreational route for hiking and biking. The route is 17 km long and runs between Utterslev Mose and Brøndby Havn (Brøndby harbour).

Sustainability

Once the homes are fully built, they will have the leading sustainability rating DGNB gold.

This rating is based, among other things, on the lifespan of building materials, transportation, consumption of energy and water, durability of materials etc. This means that the homes are built with carefully selected materials, that are durable and of good quality, and which have a long lifespan and requires little to no maintenance.

The technical installations are low power consumption and recovery ventilation systems are installed to heat the homes. The daylight ratio is optimized to avoid unnecessary use of artificial light and to prevent homes from overheating with oversized windows.

Last but not least, the buildings support a sustainable and healthy lifestyle as public transportation, shopping opportunities, nature and waste sorting are close by. Here, there’s room for a good cycling culture.

The homes have an A 2015 energy label – the second best on the scale of energy labels, and are thus in the ‘low energy homes’ category.

The nearby area

There are several opportunities for everyday shopping. Among others, there’s a big Føtex. You will also find Netto, Rema 1000 and Lidl within a short distance.

Fit & Sund is located on the same relatively small piece of land where your home will be. If you prefer Pure Gym or LOOP, you can find these on the same street corner on Frederikssundsvej.

Utterslev Mose is frequently used by nature lovers, dog walkers, kindergartens, and joggers. There are trails all the way around the boglands, and there are also a couple of playgrounds.
